If its the only thing I've learned about this colt, when he's around trouble is lerking! He is taking racing serious, but still goof's around a lot in the stables. This colt has the speed, but it took some time to harness that speed for when he needed it most in races. Although 'Midas' LOVES to play around, once he's on the track it's all business. He listens to every detail his jockey is giving him, and follows. Ok, ok I'm giving him a bad impression. He's a good colt and he's the best athlete I've seen in a while on the track. As a two-year-old he won countless awards, and within time, more to come his way. He was lightly raced in 2001 due to the 2000-2001 "winter break" paddock injury to his front right leg. In a year's time the injury was healed well enough for him to be put back into training, for eventing this time. He is currently starting out in eventing, but we expect him to rise in the levels rapidly, because of his go-get-'em attitude and heart.
