On September 2, 2009 Dark came to Hellbound for us to over see his training and racing career from Mich. Here is what she had to tell me about this colt:

"We purchased After Dark from Greenlight Inc's dispersal sale. We knew his sire DEO VOLENTE and were considering getting a breeding to him. But when we saw this colt up for sale and that his sire was DEO VOLENTE we decided why not? We were interested in his dam DS EVENING STAR but someone had beat us to the punch. So we figured if a bunch of people were fighting for his dam, and his sire was a top stallion in HF we got the best of both worlds!

Dark is a feisty young colt. But a big pleaser. We were excited to get him onto the track when it came time for the two year olds to race. He has been coming along quite nicely in his training showing alot of strength."
