Bum came to Hellbound on August 25, 2009, from Ravette. Here is what she had to say about him. "FC Beach Bum is a talented colt. He had a good two year old season with some well placed stake finishes. He started for the first time in March for 2009 on the turf. He loves the grass but his 5th in the Coolmore Lightning Stakes (G1) proved he might need a bit longer race. The short 5 furlong race just didn't give him time to get his feet under him. However he did hold his own against some of HF's fastest sprinters. I would increase him to around 8 furlongs on turf to see how he fairs before making any permanent discussions with him."
So we will be taking her advice to see how he does!
